Magnetic Field Reversal Chart causing climate change

“These magnetic poles affect our use of magnets: navigation, that is, applying a magnetized needle for navigational purposes, which was originated by the Chinese ;about A.D.1000; bird and marine migratory travel, because they are oriented by the location of the source of the magnetic field; and, most important of all, humans are protected from the harmful effects of solar winds XE "Solar winds" . This is a flow of gases coming from the sun that go past the earth at speeds of more than 310.68 miles per second. These gases include ultraviolet and X-rays responsible for heating the earth’s upper atmosphere. Further, the solar winds shake our earth's magnetic field, pumping energy into the radiation belts. This shaking causes current surges in power lines, destroying equipment and knocking out power over large areas. It can physically damage satellites and pose a threat to our astronauts[1].
